Local Special Ability
1 OP-- Roll 1d6. On a result of 3-6, choose an enemy
unit within 2 steps. This unit may down 1 target
white-circle figure on the chosen unit with hit points equal
to or less than the number of this unit's ready Death Touch or
Death Touch Master icons.
Notes from Drake the Lesser
- You choose the target figure of a Death Touch attack.
- Death Touch can only target white-circle figures.
Death Touch Master is essentially the same ability, but
it targets non-white-circle figures.
- Because they are special orders, a unit can only use Death Touch
and/or Death Touch Master once per turn. This helps keep
them from becoming overpowered.
- You can target adjacent units with Death Touch. It is not a
Special Ranged Combat Order, so it is not subject to the
limitations of ranged combat.
- A Death Touch attempt has a 2/3 chance of success.
-
A step is 8cm. Range is measured from notch to notch.
A unit is within range of the Death Touch ability if it has a notch that is
16cm or less from a notch on the source unit.
Adjacent units are always considered in range.
- Death Touch and Death Touch Master work together. So,
if you have one ready Death Touch Master icon and two
ready Death Touch icons, you can target a three-peg (or smaller) figure.
Official Ruling
- A figure's hit points are always equal to its number of pegs,
even if the figure is injured by temporary damage.
