This unit requires one less 6 to get a
Critical Hit.
Notes from Drake the Lesser
- Normally three or more sixes constitute a critical hit. A unit with
this ability gets a critical hit with two or more sixes.
- The Deadly ability works for both close combat
and ranged combat attacks, but since critical hits only
apply to attacks, it does not apply when the unit is defending.
- The sixes must be rolled naturally. If you get your second six from
a Good Fortune reroll or by modifying the value of a die
due to an ability like Intuition, it doesn't count.
- Deadly dramatically increases the odds of a critical hit, anywhere
from a factor of 10 (4 dice) to a factor of 2 (10 dice); however, the
critical hit only gets you one extra damage point, so it is not as
powerful as it seems.
