If this unit scores a hit in
close combat, its combat damage is
increased by 1.

Brutal does not guarantee that you will do damage during an attack, only
that if you do deal damage, it will be greater than normal.
- Brutal works on both attack and defense. When you damage an enemy
unit during a close combat attack, you do one extra point of damage.
When you deal back damage while defending against a close combat attack,
you also do one extra point of damage.
- Brutal applies to hits scored during combat, not total damage.
It does not increase damage from special abilities like
Berserker.
