Titus cursed as he read the report. Augustus had ordered him to take and hold this hill, but this hill happened to be in the middle of a swamp. That meant mud, evil spirits, and very little room to maneuver. It was going to be a slow, ugly battle. Still, orders were orders, and in the nightmare world that had emerged from the Mists, that was something that could not be allowed to change.
