Terrain Setup

Battlefield is set up as shown in the diagram. In addition, before placing armies, each player must place 2 standard terrain items.

Special Rules for this Combat

CRYSTAL The crystal grants the power of teleportation. If a unit containing a green circled figure is on or adjacent to the control terrain containing the crystal, it may attempt to teleport to another part of the battlefield. The unit spends 1 order point as a special order and rolls 1d6. On a result of 6, the player may pick up the unit and place it facing any direction on any other part of the battlefield. On a result of 4 or 5, the teleportation is successful per the result of a 6 but after the unit is placed, 1 figure is downed. On a result of 2 or 3, the teleportation is unsuccessful and no action is taken. On a result of 1, the teleportation is unsuccessful and 1 figure is downed.

Terrain Items

Crystal Acts as control terrain for both players. Units can move through this terrain. Snapping is optional. Units on or adjacent to this terrain gain the powers of the crystal as described in the special rules. The crystal in the center (red border) acts as blocking terrain, preventing movement and blocking line-of-sight. Units must snap to this blocking terrain.
